6 Steps for When You Want To Burn It All Down
Real talk: growing a business is not for the faint of heart.
It's totally normal to have days where you feel defeated, disappointed, and like you just want to burn it all down.
So when that happens, what do you do?
It can be tempting to act on the impulse, but here's what I recommend instead:
1. Take decision-making off the table (for now).
2. Let all your frustration out, and let yourself brain dump everything you want to do. (Basically, fantasize about what it would be like to actually burn it all down).
3. Take a break and do something nourishing and unrelated to work.
4. When you feel ready, come back to and get curious about your frustrations. Separate out the stuff you want to work through internally vs. any external changes you're considering making.
5. Once you've processed and feel more grounded, connect to your intuition for guidance on next steps.
6. Make any external changes that feel aligned and supportive.
If you follow these 6 steps, you can rest assured that you're both honoring your feelings and making empowered, intentional decisions in your business.
