Try This Daily Practice to Expand Your Capacity for Joy

It’s easy to forget how far you've come, and get hyper-focused on what’s next.

It's also easy to tell yourself that you’ll relax once ____ happens.

And put pressure on yourself to perform in the meantime.

But you’ve been here before. You know how this plays out.

When you’re so hung up on getting “there,” you miss out on how good it is right HERE.

And no matter how overwhelmed you feel right now, there are still so many things to celebrate.

Don’t let today’s stressors distract you from the magic you’ve already created.

Remember how far you’ve come.

Take 5 minutes today to actively bask in it.

And then, when you do achieve your next goal, you know what will happen?

You will be able to sit in the miracle of what you’ve created longer.

Because you’ve actively built up your tolerance for feeling proud, grateful, and accomplished.

And isn’t that the best part of achieving a goal anyway?

Offer yourself the gift of feeling these emotions and expanding your capacity for joy all the way “there.”

You'll thank me later :)

P.S. If taking the pressure off yourself, enjoying everything you've built, and experiencing more ease on the way to your goals is a top priority for you, I’m here to help.
