What Happens When You Stop Over-Scheduling Yourself

Lately I've been feeling a strong desire for less.

I'm currently in a season of simplifying, and the more I embrace it, the more I can feel my energy replenishing itself.

As a former overachiever and over-scheduler, my mind still occasionally questions the spaciousness.

I'll catch myself feeling guilty, like I’m missing something, or wondering: “Can it really be this easy?”

But here’s what I’ve realized:

When you get crystal clear on what the essentials in your life are, you realize just how little actually falls into that category.

When you identify and prioritize what's most important to you, and you give yourself permission to set the rest aside, you realize that the best parts of your life and work don’t fade away or fall apart with less on your plate. They get better.

You don't lose motivation or fall behind, you free up energy and space to propel you even more powerfully towards the goals that excite you the most.

And guess what? It’s easier to say no to things when you’re clear on what’s a resounding YES 🙌🏻

Here are my personal 'yeses':

1) HEALTH: Moving, fueling and hydrating my body.

2) RELATIONSHIPS: Spending quality time with my family and close friends.

3) WORK: Keeping my business plan simple and showing up for my clients.

4) MISC: Having fun and enjoying summer in the ways I feel called to (like tranquil mornings reading by the pool)!

If you're feeling this same craving for simplicity, may this be the permission slip you didn’t even know you needed 💌

And if you want support shifting out of 'busy' mode, creating a state of inner calm, relaxing into your most joyful and vibrant self, and actually enjoying the spaciousness you create, I'm here for you 😘
