How to Tell If You Really Want Something

Here’s how you know if you really want something (or not):

When your mind starts relying purely on logic...

When you’re thinking of all the reasons you “should”...

When you feel any sense of heaviness or obligation...

When you feel an absence of joy and buzzing excitement...

When you keep thinking of what you’ll miss out on...

And the most compelling reasons to do it are based in FOMO…

It’s just a no.

Maybe not forever. But for now, it’s definitely a no — and for good reason.

You are meant to reserve this time and energy for the things that light you UP.

These things are available to you, on their way, and will be able to arrive much sooner if you have the space to receive them.

Hold out for what you really want.

And remember: if you have to talk yourself into it, it's not a heartfelt desire.
