The easiest way to determine which ideas are worth pursuing is noticing where they come from inside of you.
There are two potential routes.
Ideas can either:
1. Be conceived in your mind with lots of brainpower, and be based on the "logical" choice.
You know you're coming from this place when you're choosing something because it "makes sense" or you have FOMO about not doing it. From there, you can work to get yourself excited about the idea.
This is the mind-to-soul route.
2. Drop in as inspiration and originate in your heart and soul, and then pass up to your mind to see how you can logically bring the idea to life.
This is the soul-to-mind route.
Both can work, but allowing your soul to guide you leads to more of what you really want.
That said, your mind will likely resist these ideas at first, because it's designed to help you avoid failure and rejection of any kind.
Of course you will experience fear and doubt show up when it's time to move forward with the ideas that feel most sacred to you.
The good news is that you are stronger than you think and far more powerful than any mental resistance you encounter.
You can see that fear and doubt for what it is, expect it, allow it, even embrace it...and not let it stop you.
And as you find the courage to act on your soul's nudges, you will begin to experience the true power of the soul-to-mind approach.
Start with little decisions, and work your way up to bigger ones.
The next time you have an idea, check in with where it came from.
Did it come from your mind, and now you're trying to get yourself excited about it?
Or, did it come from your soul, and now your mind is trying to wrap around it (and potentially talk you out of it)?
Trust the nudges,
P.S. One of the things I pay close attention to in client sessions is energy. I can always tell when something is a soul-inspired idea vs. a "should."
I love teaching you how to identify these differences for yourself, and trust your inner knowing above all else.
Tapping into this is key to growing your business with ease — and feeling relaxed and present in your life outside of it.
If that sounds like the dream, I'm here to help you make it a day-to-day reality.
